Dennis Kalibbala

I am a Medical Statistician with over 10 years of experience in designing research databases, managing data, and conducting statistical analyses. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics and a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Makerere University.
Currently, I serve as the Statistical Lead for the Ugandan Pediatric ART Cohort and sit on the organizing committees for PHALCH and IPHASA. My professional interests lie in applying advanced statistical methods to address research questions arising from clinical trials, surveys, routine health data, and implementation science, with a focus on generating evidence for programmatic decision-making.
Before joining STREPP, I worked as a Data Manager on two clinical trials in sickle cell disease and malaria, as well as on surveillance systems (Birth Defects) and multiple observational studies covering HIV/TB, mental health, and COVID-19. I am experienced in using ODK, REDCap, Stata, and R programming for data collection, management, and analysis.
